As we move into the second half of 2026, I have been reflecting on the incredible progress we’ve made together across District 4. Whether it’s responding to residents’ concerns, advancing long-awaited community projects, or connecting with community members, every step forward has been made possible through your involvement and partnership.
Former U.S. president Gerald R. Ford said, "Nothing in life is more important than the ability to communicate effectively,” and I couldn’t agree more. That quote has stayed with me because I believe communication is at the heart of good government. Public service isn’t just about passing legislation or approving projects – it’s about listening, keeping people informed, and making sure your voice helps shape the decisions that affect our community.
Communication isn’t something that’s optional, it’s fundamental. Every project, decision, and piece of legislation is created with you at its core.
That’s why my office is committed to making local government more accessible, transparent, and engaging. Whether through this monthly newsletter, email updates, community surveys, social media, neighborhood board meetings, or simply talking stories with residents around the district, we want you to know what’s happening at City Hall and how it impacts your daily life.
